The bathing lake at Lake Irenensee
A bathing lake – and so much more: whichever corner of our lake you like best, you are generally welcome to swim and splash about anywhere in Lake Irenensee. The most delightful spot for a swim, of course, is around our beach area, where a 160-metre beach invites you to sunbathe, dig in the sand and cool off.
From a refreshing dip on hot days to relaxing hours of fishing and romantic boat trips: with 14 hectares of water and a depth of up to four metres, Lake Irenensee offers plenty of ways to spend your free time by the water. Whether you are staying at the holiday park or just visiting for the day – you are very welcome.

Romantic boat trips.
A particular highlight is our own jetty with its rowing boat.
Let yourself drift and take your time exploring the romantic arms and small islands of Lake Irenensee – a very special experience, especially in the quiet evening hours.

Cast your line, enjoy the peace and quiet and let your gaze wander across the water: Lake Irenensee is the perfect place for a relaxing fishing holiday.

Our beach bistro is on hand for refreshments in between. Please note: unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the beach.

Admission prices apply to bathers only. Walkers and restaurant guests enter free of charge.
